Charge Level (CL) is the level of a ring. The lowest CL a ring can have is 1.0.
When you place 1 charge orb into a CL 1.0 ring it becomes CL 1.1, and cost up to 10 orbs in total to upgrade the 10 charges in the ring to reach CL 2.0.
Ring CL indicates effectiveness and attributes of one ring. As a ring is upgraded with Charge Orbs, its CL will increase.

Edit
- Empty slots, indicating that no ring is worn, are counted as being a CL of 1.0 in the calculation of one's Overall Charge Level.
- To get all 40 rings to CL 10.0 it requires a total of 18000 charge orbs, and further 12000 Shadow Orbs are needed to get them to CL 12.0.
