Walkthrough
Speak to Gustav to accept the quest.
- Defeat Buzz Saws at Bass'ken Lake to collect 4 Iron Ores.
- Recommended CL for Buzz Saws is 4.8
- Defeat either the Alarmskeeters at Bill's Ranch or the Taiko Drums at Zen Gardens to collect 2 Bronze.
- Recommended CL for Alarmskeeters is 2.5. ( Has been done at CL 5.0)
- Recommended CL for Taiko Drums is 3.5. ( Has been done at CL 5.0)
- Defeat Outlaw Pups, Outlaw Wolfs, or She wolf at Bass'ken Lake to collect 2 Axe Heads.
- Recommended CL for Outlaw Pups is 4.3. (Has been done at CL 5.0)
- Defeat Taiko Drums at Zen Gardens to collect a single piece of Lacquered Wood.
- Recommended CL is still 3.5 (as stated above).
- Return to Gustav for your reward.
Note: there is currently a glitch in this quest where it might need to be repeated.
Tips
- All of this MUST be done in order and cannot be repeated.
- Defeating the animated with the recommended CL makes loot drops more likely.
- It seems that the 'Fortune's Favor' Ring helps speed the drops up.
- NOTE: Any Animated/ Enemy who drops these items also works in the quest, such as Peelungers and Bronze.

Summary:
- Gustav gave you a recipe that lets you craft an axe similar to "Cheri", the axe you found and returned to Gustav earlier. He asks you to gather the components needed to make the axe. He first wants you to gather iron ore for the axe head.
